Prostate Working Group
The Prostate Working Group, is led by physicians, Dr. Bob Dess (Michigan Medicine/MROQC Coordinating Center) and Dr. Dave Heimburger (Munson Medical Center), and medical physicist, Dr. Dale Litzenberg (Michigan Medicine/MROQC Coordinating Center). This working group launched as a pilot initiative in July 2020 and has since expanded to include the larger Michigan Radiation Oncology Quality Consortium (in 2021). The Prostate Group is working to minimize overutilization of unnecessary resources in localized prostate cancer to advance value-based care.
