Melissa Mietzel, MS

Melissa Mietzel has served as the MROQC Program Manager since 2016. Melissa leads the administrative and operational aspects of MROQC and serves as the primary point of contact for participating facilities and those outside the collaborative. She also provides oversight of all program quality improvement activities and analytic work.  

Melissa has over 18 years’ experience in the area of clinical trial research and project management. She has been employed by Michigan Medicine for over 10 years in various roles associated with the oncology clinical trial project management.  She received her Masters of Science in Medical Science from Wayne State University in 2001 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, specializing in health sciences research, from Michigan State University in 2000.
